2023 Dinner for Life

2023 DFL Web image
We’ve had much to celebrate over the past year! We became the generation to see the overturn of Roe v Wade – a milestone event! The importance of that victory cannot be overstated. Sadly, with the Dobbs decision, the unborn are more vulnerable than ever in many states across our nation. The results of the midterm elections were a sobering reminder that we still have a long way to go to restore a respect for Life throughout our country and our world.
This event is now full and seating is no longer available, but please plan to join us for next year’s Dinner for Life!

Keynote Speaker – Michael Sanson

Very few can say they have seen a miracle or experienced a miracle in their lifetime, but our keynote speaker, Michael Sanson, is a walking miracle!  Born extremely premature to a 14 year-old mother hiding her pregnancy, Michael’s teen mom planned to discard him with the trash.  Fortunately, God intervened!

Michael’s life testifies to the truth that every human has worth and potential, no matter how dire their circumstances may seem!

Despite Michael’s premature birth and accompanying medical issues, he overcame all the odds stacked against him. Not many would have thought that a premature baby who was legally blind and extremely cognitively delayed would earn two Master’s degrees.

Michael served in the classroom and as school administrator for 10 years. However, in 2009, he answered the call to ministry. For the past 14 years Michael has served the Lord in various pastoral roles and is currently the Executive Pastor of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, TX.

He and his wife, Tara, have been married for almost 20 years and have two wonderful sons, Samuel (16) and Elijah (13).
