Greetings Prayer Warriors!

We understand that pro-life advocacy can feel like fighting an uphill battle and there can be a sense of weariness. Or with abortion illegal in Texas, we may even feel a false sense that our job is done. However, with the easy access to abortion pills and travel to out-of-state abortion facilities, abortions in Texas have only been reduced by about 25 percent.

As we approach the middle of the campaign, it’s a good time to reflect on why we do what we do and consider the full human impact of abortion… on babies, mothers, and the many others affected by abortion. Please take time to watch the first episode of Live Action’s “Face to Face” series, featuring unfiltered conversations between former abortionists, abortion workers, abortion survivors, and women who regret their abortions. Click here to watch.

When we feel weary, let’s remember that God is on our side and our greatest weapon is PRAYER! Please join us for two great events this month, as we pray and remind our community of the loss of life and immeasurable harm from abortion.

Most Planned Parenthood locations in our area are still open. Women are still going there. Our presence outside the facilities will dissuade women from seeking out-of-state or chemical abortions.

To learn how Texas women are accessing these dangerous drugs, read this American Life League Report that uncovers America’s new black market for DIY abortion drugs.

To schedule a time to pray at the vigil site outside Planned Parenthood Spring at 4747 Louetta, click here. You may also stop by to pray spontaneously. Please download and take with you, LifeFirst’s Health Service List, which provides vital information regarding area pregnancy centers and other resources to help women – including the Abortion Pill Reversal hotline.

Toward the end of 40 Days, please join us for another great event. Bring the whole family out to Life Chain, a prayerful, peaceful stand for the sanctity of life. For one hour, participants hold pro-life signs while praying for an end to abortion. It’s easy, it’s quick, and everything needed is provided!

Meet at the Montgomery Bakehouse parking lot at 2:15 for the distribution of Life Chain approved signs. From 2:30 to 3:30, participants stand 20 feet apart on the sidewalks on either side of 105W, forming the Life Chain. Each year, it’s amazing to see the cars slow down as drivers read the succession of signs. This simple outreach is powerful! Click here for more info.

We’re thankful for each of you and every prayer to see an end to abortion.

Blessings,

Camille Harris – Spring Leader
