LifeFirst is the local sponsor of the 2022 Life Chain that forms along SH 105 in Conroe! For 35 years, Life Chains have formed across the United States and Canada as a public, prayerful, peaceful witness against legalized abortion. Despite the Supreme Court Dobbs ruling, it’s as important as ever to bear witness to the atrocity of abortion and pray to see it abolished nationwide.
On Sunday, October 2, we will gather in the parking lot of Montgomery Bakehouse in Conroe at 2:15 for announcements and to distribute signs. At 2:30, we will form a Life Chain on either side of 105 W from I-45 toward Conroe High School – hopefully stretching as far as the eye can see! Life Chains are built upon the promise that God gave to His people in 2 Chronicles 7, and exist as a call to do as He says – humble ourselves, pray, seek, and turn.
“If my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Each year it is amazing to see the cars slow down as the drivers read the succession of signs. This simple outreach is powerful! Come be a part!
