LifeFirst invites you to the Spring 40 Days for Life Kickoff Rally! While we normally hold the rally outside of Planned Parenthood on Louetta, decided to remove the “bad weather factor” and hold it indoors this time!
Join us in person on Friday, February 25, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. We will meet at Sacred Heart Parish Life Center at 704 Old Montgomery Rd in Conroe. The spring 40 Days for Life vigil begins the following week on March 2 and runs through April 10.
Our guest speaker, Carrie Fischer, is among a very special group of people. She is an abortion survivor. Her mother’s attempted abortion left Carrie with major life obstacles to overcome, including facial paralysis, speech and vision impairment, and uneven growth in her legs.
As a small child, Carrie began having horrifying dreams of a baby in the womb, fighting for her life. When she finally shared this with her mother as a teenager, she learned the truth about the abortion.
Though she struggled with low self-worth for many years, Carrie has come to understand her value. Also with God’s help, she has been able to extend healing grace and forgiveness to her mother. This short, heartwarming video is a glimpse of God’s redeeming power in Carrie’s life.
Carrie shares her story of faith and forgiveness as a member of the Abortion Survivors Network. She is one of a growing number of “faces of choice.” This powerful video gives voice to precious people who were intended to die…but survived! These survivors are now some of the most powerful advocates for the unborn, because they personally speak for each lost life.
Theresa Endsley, the new campaign strategist for 40 Days for Life will also speak. Theresa has spent years in defense of the unborn, serving as programs director for Houston Coalition for Life. We are honored to have a member of the 40 Days for Life national team!
