40 Days for Life Spring Kickoff Rally
LifeFirst invites you to the 40 Days for Life Kickoff Rally for the spring vigil, which runs from March 5 to April 13.
Despite the reversal of Roe, abortions hit a decade high in 2024. Furthermore, multiple states voted to remove protections for the unborn. While our culture normalizes and politicizes abortion, it remains a profoundly personal tragedy.
Our guest speaker, Sharon Sylvester, attests to this truth in a letter to her unborn son. She begins:
Dear Paul,
I feel led to write this letter—perhaps our Father has a purpose for it. I am
your earthly mother who carried you for a few short weeks in 1977…
After carrying this secret for 43 years, Sharon finally shared her story with her grown children in 2019. Writing this letter to her son was a significant part of her healing. Her journey has taken her back to Planned Parenthood for each 40 Days campaign, where she keeps the letter handy and holds a sign that says, “I had an abortion. Can we talk?”
