Poster Art Contest

The Poster Art Contest encourages students to engage in conversation with parents, teachers and pastors on the essential question of the value of Life and express their beliefs through art. 

This contest is open to students in third through sixth grade. Public, private, and homeschooled students residing in Texas are eligible to compete. Please scroll to the end of the page to see the 2023 winners. 

Theme: Every Human Life is Beautiful

Artwork must be an original work by the participant. No collaborative work, photocopies or use of copyrighted material permitted. Posters must be 2D and no larger than 22” x 28”. Each poster is evaluated on originality, adherence to theme, artistic ability and overall effect.

Prizes are awarded to each grade-level winner as follows:

 3rd Grade – $50
 4th Grade – $50
   5th Grade – $100
   6th Grade – $100

In addition, each grade-level winner receives a Treasure Box from BRAVE Books, featuring the pro-life book Little Lives Matter! BRAVE Books aims to counter the progressive agenda that dominates children’s literature with engaging children’s books that teach the traditional values that make America special!

In addition to the individual awards to winning students, LifeFirst will supply a gift card to classroom teacher/adult group leaders if three or more students in a class/group participate in one of our contests. The gift cards are to host a classroom party at the conclusion of the contest. Through the classroom parties, even students that did not participate directly in the contest can be drawn into the discussion of the value of life. 

How to Enter
To enter the contest, please follow the steps below. The deadline to submit poster artwork is November 1, 2023.
  • READ THE RULES – Read and adhere to the contest rules by following the link below.
  • REGISTER AND SUBMIT ARTWORK – When your poster artwork is complete, create an image of it in jpg, png, or pdf format. To properly upload it, save it using this protocol: 2023-artwork title.jpg (or png or pdf). For example: 2023-Future Promises.jpg.

Then register for the contest by clicking the button below and completing the form. Please do not enter an email address associated with a student’s school. Use a personal email address or that of a parent. Artwork must be uploaded when completing the registration form.
