As the battle to protect the unborn rages in our nation, we must remain vigilant here in Texas. Recently, a highly-publicized case proved that under difficult and confusing circumstances, even strong pro-life conviction can erode.
The recent case of Kate Cox, who sued the state of Texas to allow her to abort her child diagnosed with Trisomy 18, is deeply tragic. It’s hard to fathom the heartache of parents who hear that their baby is “incompatible with life.” While we can grieve over such circumstances, we must hold to the basic principle that each life should be protected.
Guest speaker, Tracy Ramos, has experienced this grief. But when her daughter, Darcy, was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, she and her husband held fast to their belief that Darcy’s life rested in God’s hands alone. Their story is a testimony that every life is a gift of immense value!
