2025 Dinner for Life
2025 Dinner for Life
Join us for this year’s Dinner for Life, a jubilant celebration marking our 5th anniversary! In just five years, we’ve transformed from a local ministry into a nationally recognized force, making a significant impact across the country. Despite the challenges posed by launching just before the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not only survived but thrived, thanks to God’s guidance and provision and the support of faithful donors. We invite you to celebrate this milestone with us and get an update on plans for the next five years!

An uplifting conversation that will touch your heart!
This year we don’t have just one speaker. We have three! Edgar Pacheco Jr. and his parents, Edgar and Diana, will address the increase in targeting of abortion toward the disabled. During a prenatal ultrasound, Edgar Pacheco Jr. was diagnosed with Tetra-amelia, a rare genetic syndrome characterized by the absence of all four limbs. Rather than receiving support, Edgar’s parents were immediately subjected to relentless pressure to abort.
We will have an onstage conversation exploring the challenges they’ve faced individually and as a family. This is a family you will want to meet!
Turning adversity into advocacy, Edgar has dedicated himself to public service even as he pursues his undergraduate degree. Edgar was instrumental in the passage of Texas House Bill 1252, which strengthens due process protections for special needs students. Due to his extraordinary efforts, the bill was renamed the Edgar Pacheco Jr. Act. Edgar plans to attend law school and pursue public office.
