Oratory Contest

Students who participant in the Oratory Contest find their voice as the next generation of pro-life leaders. As students contemplate and express their beliefs they are changed, strengthened and prepared to share God’s truth with others.

The Oratory Contest is reserved for high school juniors and seniors in Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Grimes, Walker, Liberty, Waller, San Jacinto, Brazoria, Galveston, Lavaca, or Austin county. Contestants are required to research, write and present an original pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia or embryonic stem cell research. Speeches should be five to seven minutes in length.

1st Place- $1000
2nd Place- $500
3rd Place- $250

LifeFirst also funds classroom parties for schools, youth groups and sunday school classes who participate as a class project.
