Freedom, Fun, and Learning at the Library!
LifeFirst is thrilled to partner with Liberty Library Project and Love Heals Youth for the BRAVE Books Story Hour at the Montgomery County Central Library on Saturday, August 16! This event is part of BRAVE Books’ national “See You at the Library” campaign, which brings families together across 46 states through more than 300 community events. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading, family, and the power of community.
BRAVE Books story books will be read, one of which will be Little Lives Matter, which beautifully affirms the value of every life. After the story time there will a drawing for prizes and activities. LifeFirst will supply a copy of Little Lives Matter for two lucky participants. Art supplies will be provided for children who would like to create a drawing for LifeFirst’s Poster Art Contest. This fun and meaningful activity helps reinforce the book’s message while encouraging kids to express their creativity.
The Poster Art Contest is open to students in 3rd through 6th grade. Winners from each grade level receive cash prizes along with a Treasure Box valued at $250, generously donated by BRAVE Books.
