With the 40 Days vigil approaching we hope you’re setting aside time to pray outside Planned Parenthood in Spring. Until we see an end to abortion, prayer is still an urgent need, along with providing resources that we can only offer when we are on site.
Join us at the Kickoff Rally on Saturday, March 8, and pick up a stack of LifeFirst’s Health Services List, a tangible way to help women and their babies! In fact, we were recently contacted by Larry, a prayer warrior who uses this resource as an effective tool. He shared the following:
“I want to thank you for making this information available. I point to it and use it as my hook, so to speak, to let them know that they can save money on their medical expenses in the future, quite a bit of money as many of the services are free or low cost. And as would be the case many take the information because they are hurting financially.
Two weeks ago, a lady came out and rolled her window down to talk. When I told her about the savings she can have either for her or someone else, she said ME, and told me she had just lost her job and she is pregnant. I also told her that she would be able to get free cribs, diapers, strollers and other baby items. That really made her day and my day also.
I also put in the paperwork about Jesus and how to become a child of God and pray that they never set foot in a PP again in their lives. It is important to me to not only make them a former PP customer but also to experience the JOY of being a child of God. Keep up God’s work you’re doing and thank you again.”
This encounter happened outside the Planned Parenthood in Spring, where women still seek out-of state abortions and information about the abortion pill. In spite of pro-life laws, abortion rates in Texas remain high. Unfortunately, we’ve seen vigil participation steadily decline, whether from fear of a hostile political climate or complacency following the Dobb’s decision. Help us change that!
This spring, we’re taking the Kickoff back to the source, on-site outside Planned Parenthood! For many years, Kickoff Rallies were held here, where prayer warriors overflowed the grassy esplanade onto the parking lot. Those going to Planned Parenthood or just driving by could not help but notice a powerful presence for life overtaking the area.
Let’s together ask God to bring that back! Join us for the 40 Days for Life Spring Kickoff Rally on Saturday, March 8 from 10:30 – 11:15 am. Our presence reminds our community that the unborn are not forgotten and we’ve not given up the fight! Pick up 40 Days yard signs and LifeFirst’s Health Services List for your time in prayer during the vigil. Hope to see you there!
