Year in Review…and Something New!

This year has been a chalenging one! In 202l4 the number of abortions hit a decade high number, voters in multiple states approved protections for abortion, and Republican leadership seemed to retreat from a strong stand for Life.

Like other pro-life organizations, LifeFirst saw donations ebb. However, all this was simply a reminder of the truth that anything worthwhile is not easy! So, we joyfully press on knowing the absolute essential value of this work! Thank you for sharing that commitment! Here are a few highlights of LifeFirst’s growing impact.

• At the beginning of 2024, the When Does Life Begin Facebook content alone surpassed the ONE MILLION ENGAGEMENT threshold. This is a significant milestone! Much of that engagement is in pro-abortion states. New York City has been our number one city for Facebook engagement for over a year. Chicago is consistently third or fourth each month. Los Angeles is consistently in the top five.
• One of our personal stories interviews has generated 900,000 views itself. This is just one small piece of the WDLB content that LifeFirst produces.
• Students in 80 cities across Texas have now participated in LifeFirst’s pro-life contests.
• Our unique online resource, Pro-life Answers 101, is being used across the nation by individuals and organizations.
• LifeFirst hosted 20 Community Booths in 2024 – almost two each month.

LifeFirst purposely limits our appeals as we trust the Lord for funding. However, year-end donations this year are much needed. In addition to our general expenses, LifeFirst is bearing the cost of a new website. Due to our current site’s obsolete programming code, there have been almost constant problems with loading pages, broken links, etc.

Although we would have preferred to avoid this expenditure, the new website has a better flow and will better present our ministry outreaches to users. It launched today!  Let us know what you think!
