Join us on Thursday, September 28, for our fall 40 Days for Life Kickoff Rally! The fall vigil runs from September 27 through November 5, and the kickoff will prepare our hearts as we dedicate this campaign to God!

Though illegal in Texas, many states have expanded abortion access since the overturning of Roe. While denying a eugenics’ motive, many in our own country advocate the lifting of abortion restrictions in the case of disability.

To deny life to the disabled is a terrible brutality.

Guest speaker, Edgar Pacheco Jr., is evidence of the rich life available despite a severe disability.  Edgar was born with no arms or legs and his mother faced heavy pressure to abort him. But despite the devaluation of his life by physicians, he leads a joyful, purposeful life focused on others!

Edgar is aiming for a life in politics and is already making his mark. Right after graduating from high school, Edgar ran for the Pearland ISD School Board. He’s also served as an intern for Congressman Pete Olsen and as a Senior Advisor for Greg Hill’s campaign.

Most notably, he strongly advocates for legislation that helps disabled students. This led to the passing of the Edgar Pacheco Jr. Act in 2022, legislation that helps disabled Texas students.

Check out this ABC 13 Game Changer video to learn more about this amazing young man who encourages us all to “take risks and know what you’re living for.

We hope you join us for this special evening of worship, fellowship, and prayer for the upcoming campaign.  40 Days for Life yard signs and books, including the newest release, The Scalpel and the Soul, will be available.
