On Saturday, January 28, pro-lifers across Texas will be coming out in force in support of Life. This will be the historic first Rally for Life post-Dobbs. In spite of the Dobbs victory last year, it’s imperative that advocacy on behalf of the unborn remains strong as ever. Our numbers will speak a clear message to our elected officials, the media, and the abortion industry that the pro-life movement is growing and not backing down!
LifeFirst is excited to take part in two rallies that day! We will host an information booth at the Texas Rally for Life in Austin and Teresa Strack will have the honor of speaking at the Rise Up for Life Rally in Hallettsville.
Join THOUSANDS of fellow pro-life Texans for the Texas Rally for Life, organized by the Texas Alliance for Life. The march begins at 1 pm, starting at the parking garages at 14th & Congress. It concludes at the south steps of the Capitol where the rally, featuring inspiring state and national speakers, will commence at 2 pm.
Bring diapers (especially larger sizes) for the Texas-sized diaper drive to benefit pregnancy centers across the state! You can drop off diapers and pick up a sign at 14th and Brazos, then head to the north side of the Capitol where the march begins. Click here for a map of the march route and all event locations.
Let’s march together! To join LifeFirst and march together as a group, look for the LifeFirst banner near the diaper drive at 14th and Brazos at 12:45. Come meet five of our pro-life scholars will be joining us as well! We would love to have a large representation at this historic event. Following the rally, visit the pro-life Expo, where LifeFirst will participate with an informational table, alongside many other amazing organizations!
Rise Up for Life Rally – Hallettsville
The Rise up for Life Rally in Hallettsville will also be held on January 28. Meet at the Hallettsville post office at 8:15 am and the march to the Lavaca County Courthouse will start at 8:30. The Rally Program will begin at 9:00 and will feature our very own Teresa Strack!
