| Can ya’ll believe we have less than 2 weeks left of our 40 Days for Life fall campaign? There have been so many powerful prayers going up over these 28 days!! God has been so good to us and continues to provide so that we can meet out in front of Planned Parenthood to pray! I wanted to remind everyone that this coming Friday, October 27th, at 11 AM, Jodie Richter (COO of 40 Days for Life) will be bringing a team to the Louetta vigil site to pray. Teresa Strack, Executive Director of LifeFirst, will also be in attendance and will have signs for anyone that is in need and you are welcome to keep them for the future vigils. It does not matter if you are new or if you are a seasoned vigil participant, we would love to have you out and Jodie and Teresa would enjoy praying alongside you! It’s super easy to sign up here. We received a wonderful message from a prayer warrior at the Louetta Vigil site this past week that I wanted to share. “When I arrived to pray there were two people there already, off in the corner in the shade. They were soon joined by a few more and immediately began praying the rosary. I stood apart as usual in case an opportunity arose to minister to someone. I must say the crowded parking lot was a bit disheartening. When the group had been praying for about 40 or so minutes a Harris County Deputy Constable pulled up in his pickup truck, rolled down his window, and said he just wanted to let us know he stands 100% behind us. He drives back and forth and sees us out there all the time and needed to let us know we are doing a good thing. Said he supports us. Asked God to bless us. Then he rolled up his window and was off.” What an encouragement!!! Sometimes when we do not see immediate return, we start to lose hope – but we are told that God is a God of hope! “May The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of The Holy Spirit” Romans 5:13.
