The pro-abortion movement has attracted some downright reprehensible allies. It should come as no surprise that an industry that disregards life would attract others that do the same. Access to legal abortion is a necessary part of the sex trade and the abortion industry is one of its greatest enablers, as this symbiotic relationship greatly profits both. Our February guest speaker, Julie Posey, is no stranger to the brutality of sex trafficking, including its reliance on a system that zealously advocates for the killing of the unborn. Julie’s experience in this area is multifaceted. The Lifetime Original Movie, Defending Our Kids: The Julie Posey Story, while fictional to some extent, depicts Julie’s work as a Cybercrime Fighter. Julie was only 11 when first exposed to sexual abuse at the hands of a neighbor. It was not until she became pregnant at 17 that the abuse was discovered. Julie chose life for her son, whom she placed for adoption. But many in similar circumstances either choose or are coerced into abortion, precipitating the cycle by silencing the victim.
As an adult, Julie was working at a district attorney’s office. These were the early days of the internet and very little was being done to protect children from online sexual predators. Julie was approached to be part of a special task force, in which she posed as an underage girl. The strict protocol that Julie developed led to a 100 percent conviction rate and remains the basis for cyber policing today.
Julie will share the techniques used by sexual predators to gain the trust of young people and how the abuser can almost guarantee that a victim won’t report the crime to anyone. Julie also teaches how to prevent these types of crimes and what you can do to protect the children you know and love. Julie’s message is more important today than ever before as the number of sexual abuse cases continues to grow. The abortion industry’s complicity needs to be exposed in order to protect both the unborn and victims of abuse.
Julie chose to let God transform the evil she underwent for good in the lives of many. God had a special gift in store for Julie years later when she was reunited with her son, Eric. Watch this clip of the reunion from the Montel Williams Show!
