We were thrilled to be part of Worship in the Park last weekend at Heritage Place in Conroe! For over two hours, our team of volunteers spun FREE cotton candy and shared ways that people of all ages can stand with LifeFirst for the sanctity of human life! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with so many in our community. Click here for pictures from this beautiful event.

Many people hold to pro-life values but don’t know how to become involved. Often, parents are unsure how to instill these values in their children. Events like these create a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue and learning.

We share about our student contests, college pro-life scholarships, and When Does Life Begin campaign and FAQs. We invite people to join our sponsored events like Life Chain and 40 Days for Life, where they and their families can literally stand and pray for the unborn. Those passing by are fascinated by the fetal models, which so clearly demonstrate the development of babies in the womb, even at 7 weeks.

Worship in the Park was just one of several opportunities we’ve had this fall to reach out to people across the state. In fact, we’re on track to host at least 20 Community Booths in 2023! In September, we attended the Katy Community Expo where we had many wonderful conversations and distributed over 500 information packets.

The first week in October, Teresa Strack attended the Texas Baptist Conclave where she engaged with hundreds of youth pastors and workers. Through these valuable connections, students across the state can learn about our contests and how to engage with us on social media through When Does Life Begin.

Thank you to our Community Booth volunteers who make it possible to reach so many in a short time! If you’d like to join us at our next event or have us bring a Community Booth to your church or activity, contact camille@lifefirst.org or call 281-259-3456.
